Grape Seed Extract OPC Antioxidant Discovery
In the ancient time people did not know how the super antioxidant property of grape seed OPC antioxidant contributes the health benefit of red wine. Because at that time people usually thought that grape seeds were not useful for them. But later in the year 1970, when French Professor Masquelier made grape seed extract as a super antioxidant, the thought was changed completely. The name of his beautiful invention was OPC or Oligomeric Proanthocyanidin complexes.
How OPC Antioxidant Was Discovered From Grape Seed Extract
Later he made OPC antioxidant from three different extract, because before that Masquelier already discovered this same OPC antioxidant from two different sources that were peanut skin extract and pine bark extract. Though, there after he conducted his research along with this product near about three decades. With in this period Masquelier coined the name of it as “Pycnogenol”, because he invented this OPC antioxidant product from three different extracts sources which were peanut skin, pine bark and grape seed extracts. Later many scientists all around the world made many researches with this product. On the basics of those researches later in the year 1990 the more powerful OPC antioxidant versions were invented. But this trend has not stopped yet. Still the research is going on.
There is also a long scientific story behind the invention or discovery of OPC antioxidant and it also explains the facts behind this massive achievement those scientists have achieved. To know more about OPC antioxidants you can also search on online medical websites.
